About

LocalWebMCP is a concept for the AI access layer of the local web.

Local information is abundant and fragmented. LocalWebMCP explores what it would look like if AI systems could reach authoritative local information through a single standardized protocol interface instead of crawling and reconciling a dozen disconnected sources.

Records, not pages

Identity begins with a structured Business Record rather than an HTML page written for browsers.

Geography as namespace

USA → State → County → City → Business gives local entities a natural, resolvable address space.

Protocol, not directory

MCP tools expose discovery, retrieval and — eventually — action, under explicit permissions.
